Jazz at The Greenbank presents a very special one-off concert, showcasing one of Bristol’s own Tenor Titans - Dan Newberry. Recently back from a European Tour, he has assembled an all star Quartet for a night of swinging standards.

Dan Newberry first gained recognition on the UK jazz scene while studying at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, quickly earning a reputation as one of the brightest rising stars.

Now based in Bristol, he has become one of the UK’s most in demand musicians. As the leader of the Dan Newberry Trio and his European Quartet, Dan has built a reputation for always delivering high-energy performances that will leave an audience wanting more. With a standout career that includes performances across the UK, Europe, and America, this concert is not one to be missed!

Jazz at The Greenbank curates the best of British Jazz, in a warm friendly pub environment - our ticketing system tries to ensure a balance of supporting artists as much as possible, whilst providing accessibility to audiences of all backgrounds who can’t afford art centre and concert hall ticket prices. To make this happen, we have a dynamic, flexible pricing system where you can choose your ticket price of £9, £12, or £15 depending on what you are able/willing to pay. There is NO tiered seating system, so every ticket price provides the same seat options and a level playing field!
