See event details

A gig on Sunday 17th February. The event starts at 19:00.

GreenbankJAZZ welcomes Julien Alenda to the stage this Sunday. A tenor sax player with a beautiful tone and well versed in the jazz tradition, Julien has a monthly residency at The Fringe in Clifton and is a central part of the Bristol jazz scene.

He joins The Alex Veitch Trio. Alex moved to Bristol from London around a year ago; he studied at the Guildhall School and has since secured residencies at Ronnie Scott’s and played at other venues including The Vortex, Cafe Oto, and Pizza Express Soho. He plays regularly around Bristol at venues including The Canteen, The Gallimaufry, The Fringe and The Leftbank, and welcome his trio here on the first Thursday of each month.

We are excited to present this collaboration on Sunday.

Julien Alenda - sax // Alex Veitch - keys // Aeddan Llywelyn - bass // Paolo Adomo - drums

Keep your eyes peeled: each month we'll have a new guest joining the rhythm section to round off the week
