Greg Sterland + The Alex Veitch Trio

On Sunday, we welcome Greg Sterland to The Greenbank! A stunning and sensitive tenor saxophonist, equally comfortable playing traditional jazz as contemporary compositions and free improvisations. He's very busy on the scene, playing in numerous Bristol staples including The Peanut Shuffle Club and The Malt House Jazz Band, in addition to his new originals quartet!
He joins The Alex Veitch Trio. Alex moved to Bristol from London around a year ago; he studied at the Guildhall School and has since secured residencies at Ronnie Scott’s and played at other venues including The Vortex, Cafe Oto, and Pizza Express Soho. We welcome his trio on the first Thursday of each month and are excited to present this collaboration on Sunday.
