Iain Ballamy has a BBC Jazz award, is listed in the BBC’s ‘100 jazz greats’, has recorded for ECM (the worldwide pinnacle in terms of jazz record labels) and has written soundtracks for two films directed by Dave McKean!

Alex plays with MADLY, Family Business, Bristol Street Music, Samantha Lindo, and in AVTRIO with James Vine [Waldo's Gift] and Chris Jones. He moved to Bristol from London 4 years ago, graduating from the Guildhall School and has since secured residencies upstairs at Ronnie Scott’s and played at other venues including The Vortex, Cafe Oto, and Pizza Express Soho.
Ash is an award-winning virtuoso double bassist and composer. A Lecturer at Cardiff University who is also an award winning chamber composer that ALSO happens to be one of the most in demand bass players in the UK. John Law, Keith Tippett, Hans Koller and Nigel Price to name a few.
Alex Goodyear is a recent graduate of jazz from Royal Welsh. His formidable monthly gig listings see him out almost every night of the week, most recently with artists including John Law, Alex Meritt, and Victoria Klewin.
