GOLD VALLEY BENCH

Album launch of 'Raining on Avon'

“Gold Valley Bench” is Daniel Potter, a Thames and Bristol based lock-keeper and prodigious songwriter. “Raining in Avon” is an album of exquisite lo-fi swan songs and comes out on Undergrowth April 19th 2023. Wandering through the mud flats of Weston Super Mare and the cinema back lots of Bristol, this is an album of heartbreak and forgotten loners. If Townes van Zandt had lived to fight another day, this is the dreamy dusk he would have retreated to, waiting for the sun to rise over the discarded mattresses and bottles of Buckfast scattered across a seaside promenade.
