Cuculi Presents an evening with irrepressible songwriter Roland George Harrad at The Greenbank to celebrate the release of his debut album 'Full Spiral'. Drawing on influences from jazz, folk, soul & theatre modalities, Roland's lyrics are written with piercing vulnerability, but delivered with refreshing humour and impeccable vocal dexterity. Although 'Full Spiral' was created during periods of difficult mental health, Roland considers it to be a celebration of nature, humanity and love.
Roland will be joined by some very special guests for this gig: we're very pleased to welcome fellow Tryani Collective musician Suzi MacGregor to open the night with a solo set of songs and stories, followed by a set from songwriter-bassist Stevie Toddler accompanied by Harriet Riley & Danny Tryani. Then, all four performers and Greg Sterland will join Roland for the final set of the night.
FOR FANS OF: Villagers, Fionn Regan, Joni Mitchell
We recommend buying a ticket in advance as all our previous shows have sold out. Tickets are £10 (general release), with a low income option (£7) and a community supporter option (£14). Having multiple ticket tiers makes the event accessible to people on different incomes while still making sure the artists take home a decent wage.

Suzi MacGregor is a versatile vocalist, performer, and writer, making solo and collaborative music with crossovers into theatre. She’s performed professionally, in the UK and internationally, for 15 years, developing her practise as a songwriter, vocal mentor, and performance artist. Her voice and composition style range from the ethereal folk-tones of Joni Mitchell to the more ballad-pop style akin to singer and composer Sara Bareilles. Currently based in Bristol, she is writing a one-woman musical funded by Arts Council England and is regularly performing with Cove Jam & Tryani Collective. She is drawn to the connections between singing, wild places, and play, and is looking forward to co-leading'Creative Camino’ workshops in collaboration with the Wexford-Pembrokeshire Pilgrim Way in Spring and Summer 2023.
