Avalen at The Greyhound Fishponds
See event details

A gig on Saturday 21st February. The event starts at 20:00.

Avalen – A traditional folk band formed in the cider-soaked pubs of South Bristol. They take their name from their affinity with the Orchard Inn on Spike Island – Avalen being the Cornish word for apple tree. Avalen combine Celtic classics with the nautical tunes of the South West to serve a homely brand of West Country folk music. With bohdrans, fiddles, banjos, guitars and even a bouzouki, Avalen are bringing Bristol back to the old ways, one jig at a time. Free entry - no ticket needed.

Entry requirements: 18+, any under 18s accompanied by 21+ adult 1:1 ratio
