━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Everything in the world of Crimewave is surreal, fractured, and distorted. Based in the backdrop of Manchester their music portrays vintage 90s sounds bridging hip-hop, industrial and dance. Often referred to as My Bloody Valentine meets Aphex Twin, CRIMEWAVE combines early 90s shoe-gaze music with contemporary electronic music.

Crimewave’s debut EP ‘Altercation’ released on Black Acre Records [24/03/23] talks of the dangerous, frenetic, and grubby sides of Northern nightlife. The EP flows through the subsequent electronic subgenres in swift succession, scattered throughout with samples of late-night fights from the Northern cities of Glasgow, Newcastle and Manchester.
