The C33s are a garage-punk band with an infusion of surf and psychedelia from Manchester/Macclesfield Their sound is an East coast meets West coast affair, ramped up Ramones pop fused with full on Dick Dale twang. If Pulp Fiction was set in a satellite town The C33s just wrote the soundtrack.

Their 2019 release 'Manic Depression' earned amazing reactions and gleaned national radio play including BBC Radio 1 (Huw Stephens), BBC Radio 6 (Chris Hawkins), XS Manchester (Mike Joyce) and Amazing Radio (Jim Gellatly). Championed by BBC Introducing Manchester (Michelle Hussey & Natalie Eve Williams), their follow up releases in 2019 'Big Winner’ & ‘Resurrection Men’ received airplay from BBC Radio 1's Huw Stephens, John Kennedy at Radio X and Shell Zenner at Amazing Radio.

Soon after releasing fourth single 'Harpurhey Hostility' in June 2020, The C33s were back in the studio. During a break between national lockdowns in July 2020, they managed to record a new EP and have since released the title track 'Benzodiac' with the rest of the EP being released on 10" vinyl early 2022.

"A dead exciting new band from Manchester. Garagey, gritty & will leave a scar on your mind. The future is bright. The future is The C33s." Chris Hawkins, BBC 6 MUSIC

"If Quentin Tarantino invented a band to write tunes for his future films they would be called The C33s. One of the best debuts this year for me." (Louder Than War).
