Barry Ashworth the leader of the Dub Pistols, has spent the best part of a decade at the forefront of Beats culture. From their early singles for Concrete Records to their genre defying'Six Million Ways To Live' long player, the Dub Pistols have always added a much needed Rock n Roll swagger to the UK's dance scene. Chewing up hip-hop, dub, techno, ska and punk and spitting them out in a renegade futuristic skank they have consistently defied categorisation and exceeded the highest of expectations.
DR MEAKER
Dr Meaker started their journey in 2007 as a Bristol-based sound system comprising of both electronics and instruments. The band soon built up a strong following, while their hyper-frenetic amen-and-dread-bass combo'Rubber Gloves' gained the attention of Rob da Bank, who played the track on his BBC Radio 1 show.
HOWLA
Working in association with Tremor Sound, Noise Cube and represented by Savage Artist Management and after an epic computer meltdown HOWLA is back in the game, thoroughly abusing punters, promoters, hookers and lady boys throughout the land.
Howla has been making inroads into the Ghetto Funk scene over the past few months with some tremendous production fusing funk, swing and glitchiness! expect fun!!!
BEAR TWISTS
Tremor Soundsystem's"King Of Funk" and the musical genius behind"CAT FACE", this man will keep the dance floor moving with a awesome blend of all things funky.
