After the humongous SWING N TINGZ Bristol debut with the mighty Odjbox, Gypsy Unit and Jimi Needles back in October, we're back to our crazy antics, presenting another jam packed night of some of the freshest music from the UK Electro-Swing and festival scene. Lovingly combined with all the bells and whistles we can muster, transforming The Lanes, Bristol into an indoor Festival wonderland for one night only with our decadent decor, barmy performers and sumptuous sounds.
Premium rap skillz, good vibes and a healthy side serving of jokes!! This dynamic duo have blown up on the UK scene with their golden era Hip-Hop formula; Positive lyrics, back to back rapid fire flows and turbo-charged performances. 2013 has been a big big year for them, smashing festivals left right and centre, performing at Boomtown, Secret Garden Party, Shambala, Beat Herder and playing stage hosts at Bestival. Championed by UK music movers and shakers such as Rob Da Bank and John Kennedy and acclaimed as the UK's answer to the Beastie Boys - Too Many T's are well on their way to fulfilling this huge accolade.
We're stoked to have them for the only Bristol date on their Beats We Wish We Had UK Tour, tickets will fly out like hot cakes so be sure to get on it!! To mark the special occasion, we've put up a limited amount of £3 earlybird tickets - get em while they're there!!
One of the hottest cats in the Electro-Swing scene right now!! Jamie Berry has had a great year with some of the years biggest Electro Swing releases, staying wonderfully unapologetic about his mission to produce uplifting feel good party music. Bouncing firmly in the electro-swing camp, Jamie Berry has lived up to the genre's ideals of fusing house beats to old swing, jazz and big band music, recognised for his shuffling modern beats nestled with vintage swing sounds, before leading way to some heavier wobble bass kicks to push things up a gear or two.
Ghetto Funk and Swing-Hop extraordinaire, Savage Henry will be gracing the decks away from his Too Many T's tour DJ duties for an extra special birthday set!! Creator and curator or some of our favourite tunes of the year including the funktastic Mary Jane - expect some birthday antics as we treat him with cakey goodness, bubbly fizz and some Bass Jump hunnies. Nothing but the best for the birthday boy.
Swing with the Big Bass sound!! Ragtime records head honcho and Swing City resident C@ In The H@ has been wobbling dance floors left right and centre this year with his signature Swing n Bass sounds. Mixed up with cheeky turntablism, nice guy antics and the freshest tunes, we can't for him to bring some wub to Swing n Tingz!
Bristol beat smith and Ghetto Funk golden child, we're chuffed to have Waggles lay down some tunes for us as a farewell set before he escapes to the other side of the world to pastures greener and most definitely warmer!!
With LOADS more TBA - keep those ears to the ground and your peeelers peeled as we update this page with more goings on!! Gonna be one eck of a night : )
