Guitarist Ebony Clay and bassist Jack Timmis smash out brawny, off-time riffs that evoke the darker moments of Led Zep IV. The space they and rampant drummer Sam Jenkins create offers singer Andy Teece room to spit rhythmic vocals that suggest a supercharged Tom Waits is front and centre.
Somehow, in the febrile chaos, there is sex and slick-back swagger, the sort of which you’ve seen in recent Arctic Monkeys. Take a minute to process the dark romance directing the lyrics, and the comparison strengthens.

In a distant solar system, 5 jets were aimlessly orbiting a far flung planet... Then one day they got slingshot out of their solar system and into the one we know.
After travelling millions of light years and orbiting various planets the 5 jets came into the orbit of planet earth.
They descended upon the South West of Britain, where they then discovered drums, bass, guitars, melody, harmony, organs and synthesisers.
They then formed a group.... GEMINI JETS and don't intend to leave planet earth just yet

Tom Forbes is a singer songwriter from Bristol. He’ll have you on tenterhooks with his insightful lyrics and cleverly constructed songs creating a captivating vibe with Hendrix styled guitar solos. Having gigged intensely since he was 15, including countless music festivals alongside being featured as part of BBC Introducing (Hereford & Worcester) and most recently the BBC 6 Music Festival in Bristol, his live show has been whittled down to a fine art. Utilizing his multi-instrumentalist’s skills and extensive vocal range on the loop pedal, drum machines and synths Tom creates the illusion of a full indie pop band with elements of spacey electronica. He oozes a youthful freedom that will appeal to young men and women alike
