Combining the starkness and emotional intensity of Slowcore bands like Duster and Movietone with the seductive soundscapes and nocturnal moods of vintage Trip-hop acts Portishead and Massive Attack, Broadsheets move beyond nostalgia in evoking the sounds of Bristol's past and bringing them into the information-addled present.

Formed in 2022 for a set at iconic Bristol jam night Improv’s Greatest Hits, Broadsheets gradually tightened their focus, transforming amorphous, semi-improvised live sets into tightly written songs that retain the murky atmospherics and patiently unfurling arrangements of their early experiments.

Consisting of Oliver Kadouchine on guitar/vocals, Llyr Cox on bass/guitar, Aidan Surgey on Drums/Percussion, Laura Kristapaite on synth/vocals and Tom Monaghan on guitar/bass. Broadsheet's shifting line-up reflects their ever malleable sound, with members trading instruments between songs and no clear frontman emerging from the haze.
