- Diddy Sweg -

Brass infused mayhem and madness hits the Lanes this March.

Diddy Sweg is a Birmingham based pop jazz funk behemoth comprised of four professional party starters who have one goal … you guessed it, PARTY!

From unpredictable bursts of topsy turvy energy from a keytar yielding bright blue Bez, to satirical song subjects that include the development of the almighty Javascript programming language, this is a fully fledged brass squadron with a bizarro edge!

Diddy Sweg consists of:
Disco Chin on vocals and trumpet,
F-Bomb on baritone bass,
General Smiles on drums
Dangerous Illegal on trombone

- DJ DAD -

DJ Dad started living in 1956 and DJing in Leeds and then London in 1972. He has played at most of the UK’s leading festivals and clubs across Bristol and London. Since 2008 Dad has been the resident DJ and co-programmer for the Wandering Word now Phantom Laundry, the spoken word/music tent at Shambala. On the decks he mixes funk, soul, roots reggae, dancehall, Afrobeats, amapiano, house, UKG, hip hop, Latin, EDM, jungle and d&b.

- Hombre Lobo -

Hombre Lobo (Gumbo Show). Proper father of old school to the very latest funk, also hip hop, dance beats and strange refixes. HL mixes like no other dj we know! It's hard to capture his aural beauty in words but if you know you know!
