TENBY LACROSS CLUB is a dynamic and energetic punk band that originated in the coastal town of Tenby, Wales. The group came together during their studies, quickly finding a shared passion for raw, high-energy punk rock. Now based in Bristol, Tenby Lacross Club has firmly established itself within the UK’s vibrant underground scene, performing at renowned venues across the country. Their electrifying live shows have taken them nationwide, and they’re back again to captivate audiences with their infectious sound. The Meritones, a Cardiff based psych-punk and garage rock band offering the gnarliest of tunes to the hungry masses.
Emerging in late 2023, they once got called "jangle-pop" and took that personally, and so strived to get as loud and stupid as possible. They "borrow" from the scuzzy tones of Dead Kennedys and Osees and the groovy slacker rock of bands like Pavement and Built To Spill, dowsing it in a horse-tranquilising amount of fuzz and saturation. The result is a slew of recorded audio offerings have gained airplay on BBC Radio Wales and KEXP as well as a live shows often accompanied with gratuitous perspiration.
