"Leeds born, Bristol based, Super-Improviser, DJ's main instrument is drums but this is a tool for an inspired compositional mind" - Annie Gardiner
Harriet Riley & Georgie Ward
Georgie and Harriet have worked together on a multitude of projects together playing minimalist music and improvising. Their recent trip to Russia performing with the Paraorchestra in an exploded version of the traditional orchestra inspired them to incorporate elements of drones, marimba riffs and minimalist grooves into their music. Georgie works regularly with Will Gregory’s Moog ensemble and Masca, and Harriet is a member of Bristol bands Spindle Ensemble and Tezeta. The duo features the unusual combo of marimba and synths and the set will be almost entirely spontaneously composed.
