30/70 + Astral Tusk at The Lanes

A gig held at The Lanes on Wednesday 3rd July. The event starts at 20:00.

Erratic Batting are super happy to announce the return to Bristol of 30/70.

Following their sold out show for the Noods Radio guys at The Crofters last year, we are taking them to the much improved The Lanes for a tasty Wednesday night session as 30/70 hit up the UK for their latest tour.

Fronted by the superb Allysha Joy, the five piece bring the goods with a neck snapping fresh mix of Hip-Hop, Jazz, R&B, Neo-soul with well executed electronic flourishes.

The band came of age in the wake of Melbourne’s soul scene hitting global success, a local phenomenon which shone a light on the Northside community and paved the way for a new generation of bands to take this sound and make it their own. You can hear the influence of this scene on a lot of artists coming through right now.

Their Rhythm Section release from 2017, 'Elevate' still sounds as vital as the day it came out and we are looking forward to hearing them debut some new material on these run of shows.
