----

Bursting out of the Brooklyn scene, DIY supergroup Public Practice consists of members from the freshly-dead punk project WALL and local pop band Beverly. Creating post-punk with a danceable synth disco twist, the four-piece have been compared to early Talking Heads, while their raucous live shows have pushed them to the forefront of their local scene. Crafting a sound “where art-funk, disco and barebones punk collide” (Paste Magazine), with “sardonic and cutting” vocals (DIY mag), Public Practice’s latest EP Distance is a Mirror is a perfect example of taking a tried-and-tested genre to new heights.

This is a standing event at The Louisiana, Wapping Road, BS1 6UA
