Distant Television Studios, the upcoming EP from Bristol's own alternative icon Emily Isherwood, is more than a record. It's an enigmatic, understated elegy to lost Hollywood, conjuring images of a city endlessly draped in fog and the fading light of the setting sun.
No simple launch gig could capture this kind of majesty, and so on the 19th July, Breakfast Records are teaming up with Emily to offer a curated night of music and performance, designed to capture the spirit of Distant Television Studios and the singular niche she has carved out into the Bristol musical landscape.
