A
gig
held at The Louisiana
on Friday 24th June. The event starts at 19:30.
Bristol's premiere blender-core noise rock band celebrates the launch of Clout with their Cardiff agro-glam famalam Telgate. Clout is a bongo-laiden, fuzzy elegy to the daily grind. Expect glitter, profuse bleeding, and drums.
THE NEW AMERICA
Force feed a glitchy algorithm Gang of Four, Interpol, Tropical Fuck Storm and Drug Church records. Replace the frontman with a deranged cockney. Add funk dust. Egg. You have created The New America.
Bristol’s premier blender-core noise rock band is just as lovable as they are sweaty. And believe you me, they are sweaty. Bands like The Golden Age of TV, Erotic Secrets of Pompeii, and Dead Naked Hippies performed with CAUTION: WET FLOOR signs lining the stage after TNA’s opening sets for them. Adored by audiences and hated by janitors across Bristol and beyond. Consistently off-kilter, inconsistently hummable, but always trying our best. We love what we’re doing and want you to be part of it.
TELGATE
TELGATE invites you to paint your lips red and prepare to fall in lust with the queerest side of rock and roll.
With a duty to start riots in 6” platforms, expect fierce androgyny along with music which is unapologetically queer, loud and honest from Aggro-Glam band, TELGATE. Their major musical influences from early psychedelia, glam rock, post punk and riot-grrrl mix together to create a dramatic experience catered towards the eccentrics and the glamorous. Fronted by outspoken transgender and non-binary musicians, TELGATE communicate LGBTQ liberation through music.
Support from Taipan. They'll bite your neck off :)
