We're really excited to be curating an event to recognise the venue that has been so supportive to us and to so many artists over the years in honour of Independent Venue Week .

All three floors of The Louisiana will have stages showcasing some of the best music around Bristol.

MAIN VENUE

The Bronze Medal

The stunning debut album Darlings came out in 2014 to rave reviews. This'll be a euphoric end to the evening.

'Masters of indie slow-build' - The Times

"Influences are easy to spot, but just as easily transcended. The National, Frightened Rabbit and The Remote Part-era Idlewild all seem to be key inspirations, but crucially The Bronze Medal don't rest too heavily on them" - The405

BAR VENUE

Goan Dogs

Bristol's finest merchants of calypso-slease. Running rhythms, pounding drums and pure upbeat joy.

"I absolutely love this... Bristol's finest" - BBC Radio 6 Music

CELLAR VENUE

Rebecca Clements

Some of you will have seen this wonder perform at our Elder Island showcase. She'll slay you with her lyrics and if she doesn't, those melodies will make sure they stay in your head for days.

She's sure to haunt the ghosts out of the cellar. This'll be a special performance in a very intimate setting.

"Bristol songwriter draping every note in swathes of atmosphere. " - Clash
