A
gig
held at The Louisiana
on Friday 5th January. The event starts at 19:30.
The wait is finally over, the flying piano music video has arrived! I invite you all to the Louisiana in Bristol for the launch party!
Support from Candar. at 8:00pm and I'll be playing a bit later with a 5 piece band. You guys will be the FIRST to see the flying piano music video, along with some behind the scenes footage to bring you into the journey of how we actually made the piano fly with NO CGI or muggle trickery. I'll be playing a mix of blues, soul, jazz, latin and indie music with a bunch of my favourite reprobates - Harry Collis (Trumpet) Todd LP (Drums) Dec Williams (bass) Oscar Collis (sax) Joel RF (Guitar). If you love quality live music and seeing whacky visions brought to life, come on down!
Louis Cardozo Bio:
Louis is an independent Bristol-based artist with a taste for fast-paced lyrics and Spanish guitar. Influenced by vintage Blues, soul, jazz and Latin records, he blends catchy, foot tapping melodies with sentimental lyrics, bringing both energy and soul to his shows. His live band on drums, bass, guitar, sax and trumpet crank things up to raise the roof every time.
Candar Bio:
Candar are a London-based duo with Devon-roots, made up of Ella Crossland (Vocal, Guitar) and Finn Mcauley (Drums).
Returning from their 2023 Glastonbury Festival show, the band are taking up space on the festival scene headlining stages at Goldcoast, Oceanfest and making ground in the capital.
Candar’s unique sound derives from melodic vocals drifting over dirty riffs and messy grooves. The wolfish energy of their live performances lies within the collision of heady drops, driving rhythm and the sophisticated drawl of powerful yet haunting vocals.
