gig
held at The Louisiana
on Monday 24th June. The event starts at 20:00.
Great folk music is the art of storytelling, and William Crighton’s collection of tall tales are unique. Combining traditional folk with a fiery punk heart, Crighton is quickly becoming a must-see act, wowing audiences wherever he goes. “International stardom beckons” (Evening Standard) and we’re eager to welcome him, along with his impassioned lyricism, to Bristol for River Town.
Joining him is the formidable Sam Morrow. Full of Texan stomp, American swagger and foot-tapping swing, Morrow’s music has classic country at its core with a modern and forward thinking agenda. Catch them both in a double bill of raw and honest storytelling.
