Dirty Nice invite you to Planet Weekend at The Louisiana
£12

A gig held at The Louisiana on Saturday 11th October. The event starts at 20:00.

Step right up and dive headfirst into the weird and wonderful world of Dirty Nice (Chiverin Records)! This UK six-piece isn’t just a band—they’re a multi-sensory, mind-bending experience that blurs the lines between music, art, and pure escapism.

Critics call them "charming" (The FADER), "mind-bending" (Rolling Stone), and "whimsical and playful" (MTV). Now, they’re inviting YOU to experience it all LIVE with the launch of their most ambitious project yet: Planet Weekend.

Imagine MGMT’s day-glo pop colliding with The Flaming Lips’ psychedelic theatrics, sprinkled with British eccentricity. Dirty Nice, led by the inventive duo Charlie Pelling and Mark Thompson, will pull you into their glitchy, funky, psychedelic indie universe—where every melody is a tilt-a-whirl, and every lyric hits like an emotional sucker punch.

Expect hits from their cult-favorite albums Surrenderland and Lobster, like "SHARK!" (BBC Radio 1 favourite) and "This Is Gonna Hurt" (Chris Hawkins' 6 Music morning staple), plus fresh tracks from Planet Weekend. From the surreal, yet relatable, narrative of "If I Was Abducted by Aliens" to the joyous refrains of "Another Life”, this show promises heart, humor, and hypnotic hooks.

Add Dirty Nice's surreal self-made animations and bizarre visuals, and you’ve got more than a concert—you’ve got an experience.

A Chiverin presentation.

Entry requirements: 16+, any under 18s accompanied by 21+ adult 1:1 ratio
