The Louisiana & The Exchange, Bristol have teamed up to host an online fundraising event for “Help Feed Bristol”

There will be interviews alongside live & pre-recorded artists featuring:

Statement from Help Feed Bristol co-founder Chloe Wood:
“Help Feed Bristol started in Jan 2021 in response to the school meals scandal. After seeing the press coverage, myself and my sister Imogen decided that we would buy £30 each of essential items for the foodbanks.
We posted on social media offering to pick up other’s donations to save them going to the shops during the pandemic.
This snowballed and we have since raised almost £7k and donated many tonnes of food to Bristol’s food banks. We have a group of friends with varied skill sets that are working hard behind the scenes to make this happen.
We are working to continue supporting these food banks during this crisis and we have future plans to engage in the wider conversation of tackling food poverty in Bristol and beyond. All money raised at the moment is being turned in to food and essential items which is then delivered directly to the food banks.
Help Feed Bristol are currently working towards a £10k overall target which we hope to reach through activities like this”
