"Sell out warning! Precision-engineered post-rock swoon from Manchester trio Shaking Hands, who wind their spring tight with frenetic percussion, wiry guitar lines and thunderous bass before unleashing rhythmic rapture. Enchanting FFO: Women, Field Music, Acetone, Ulrika Spacek."

Shaking Hand
Shaking Hand are a Manchester trio who construct long slowburning post-rock in multiple tunings and time signatures, taking inspiration from modernist architecture, 90s US alternative and midwestern emo. The band’s musical DNA runs through experimental guitar outfits like Women, Slint, Sonic Youth, Pavement, and Ulrika Spacek, balanced with the melodic sensibility of Big Thief and the dynamic intimacy of Yo La Tengo.

Normal Village
Rising out from the chaos and community of the city’s bustling DIY-gig scene, Normal Village have been lifted right from a dark, sweaty and crammed basement somewhere off Hyde Park. Fusing together a scorching, breakneck mix of punk, indie, Math-Rock and post-hardcore, Normal Village scream, batter and howl through 20 minutes of slanted time signatures and raging volumes, guitars sparking off each other, igniting fires.
