A gig held at The Louisiana on Sunday 28th June. The event starts at 20:00.
DOGSBODY live at The Louisiana, Bristol. Sunday, 28th June 2026.
With support from JOHNNY SANDWICH + NOBODY'S DAD
DOGSBODY
The brainchild of Mimi Jones, whose songwriting has been likened to Jeff Buckley, Elliott Smith and Mazzy Star, Dogsbody craft honest songs with grungy chord progressions; every note is purposeful and every lyric deliberate. Mimi’s jazz-imbued vocals and raw delivery bring the songs into their most intimate form.
JOHNNY SANDWICH
From slacker rock to slacker pop, Johnny Sandwich deals in the enigmatic. The New York native turned Bristol provocateur makes minimalist, high-dopamine new wave crooner pop for the defiant and the strange. Fuelled by a fizzed-out cocktail of Gorillaz, Peaches, MGMT and a restless streak of PJ Harvey and Ween, he chews up the stage and spits it out.
NOBODY'S DAD
Wrapped in the Bristol music scene is Nobody’s Dad: an artistic blend of alternative rock, shoegaze and indie, hitting hard with gritty guitars and pounding drums, juxtaposed with delicate vocals and lyrical hooks. Through their honest songwriting, the band share real life experiences - weaving relationships, mental health, and coming of age in post 2020 Britain. The 4-piece have garnered praise from respected tastemakers including Under The Radar and Rough Trade, alongside airplay from Steve Lamacq on BBC Radio 6 and John Kennedy on Radio X. Having supported Kate Nash, Girl Scout and She’s In Parties, Nobody’s Dad are proving to be a promising and refreshing new sound as they break further in the wider scene.
