Native Harrow at The Louisiana
See event details

A gig held at The Louisiana on Thursday 22nd July. The event starts at 20:00.

Pennsylvania folk duo Native Harrow make warm, desert-funk infused tunes that harness a glimmering, timeless nostalgia. Made up of Devin Tuel and her partner Stephen Harms, the band explore themes of anxiety, introspection and the perpetual motion of time.

“While the clock is moving, we can hold onto one another and maybe there will be tears but there will also be laughter,” Tuel said of their fourth album ‘Closeness.’ Here, Native Harrow are expanding their aspirations to produce a “razor-sharp folk-rock” (Mojo), with “shades of Joni Mitchell” (The Times) and “exquisite forays into warm 70s grooves” (Uncut). ‘Closeness’ offers an optimistic and heartfelt escapade into the human experience.
