Goblyns / Trans-Siberian Express / The Kruds at The Louisiana
Headfirst Editor's Pick

"South African superbad psych-groove trio Goblyns splice steady driving in-pocket afrofunk rhythms with raucous guitar that shifts from surfy lead lines to wah'd-out fuzz. Float off into deep pockets of syncopation amidst a tangle of spaghetti bops. Essential FFO: The Budos Band, Khruangbin, Hawkwind."

Extra Terrestrial Promotions & Velvet Echoes are proud to present Goblyns - a groovy, psychedelic concoction of catchy riffs and smashing sounds. Dont't miss an evening of shaking, sliding and moving at Bristol's finest; The Louisiana! Goblyns Goblyns are a psyche groove trio you want to take home to meet your girlfriend's dad. Hailing from Gqeberha, South Africa, the band feels like a fresh tat above your buns that you can't shake loose. Brothers Liam and Frank Broek are as in-pocket as only a blood-shared rhythm section can be, and with Giovanni Votano adding his secret psychedelic spice to the mix, the trio is a hot mess that you don't want cleaned up. Recently signed with CrazySane Records, their debut full-length album was released in May 2024. Drawing influence from a wide world of music, the fellas are always sharing new sounds and ideas and this shines through in the latest record.
