Ayu Okakita at The Louisiana

A gig held at The Louisiana on Tuesday 11th August. The event starts at 20:00.

Ayu Okakita is from Osaka in Japan, a multi instrumentalist with an outstanding singing voice that conveys emotion, pain and a haunting honesty that can hit you hard before healing you as well.
Her first album  'Cyan Dreams of Miss Ashleen' was released in 2008 after which she relocated to the UK and became the voice of the trip-hop/dubstep band Nedry before re launching her solo career in 2019 with the album Sayonara Dance.
'Grow Grow' was her masterpiece work released in 2023 in Japan and now available on vinyl in the UK. Expect electronic beats, piano, guitar or whatever she happens to find on the night.
This show follows a French festival appearance supporting Leonie Pernet.

Lottie Brazier is a UK singer songwriter, producer and writer. Drawing on post-punk, ambient and pop lineages. Her songs are rooms, stark landscapes and train windows, telling stories of isolation, romantic confrontation and hysterical strength. 'Ropes of Time' single was released in 2025 and will be followed by an album later this year to be released on Hand of Glory Records.

The evening is opened by Marina Yozora, a London based, Japanese singer-songwriter who plays sweet melodic Shoegaze and Dreampop music influenced by her upbringing living in diverse places such as USA & Vietnam. Her latest single, Snow Heat has been self released on Bandcamp.
