MOXIE DOLLS are an all-girl, punk-rock band based in Bristol. Formed around the need to advocate for feminist change within the music industry, they’re confronting it head on and not afraid to take up space. Known for their heavy riffs, hook-driven songs and explosive live energy, they’re unapologetically loud and leave a lasting impression. The band are bold and direct, fusing their love for raw punk energy with cutting synth lines. For fans of HotWax, Amyl and the Sniffers, and Hole - they’re a rising force you won’t want to ignore!
With the release of their upcoming, debut single Pretty Silly Boys, the band are challenging the hyper-masculine nature of the music industry that often leads to abusive relationships and misogyny. Their aim is to shine a light on the toxic environments created within the industry with their tongue-in-cheek lyrics and catchy riffs.
Pebble Daisy - With her distinctive blend of vintage 90's indie rock, dream pop and shoegaze, Pebble Daisy is the modern angst of heartbreak. Roots from the southwest of England and emergency from a background of home education filled with music, art and creation. For her, music isn't just about picking up an instrument, she sees music as an olive branch to the world, an invitation to step into her memories. She believes in artistic collaboration, incorporating her beliefs of indifference of the patriarchy, boldness, and how much sadness can be disguised as anger. "Music is a political statement to say I'm not going to do what you want me to do" she says. Inspiration coming from Wolf Alice, The Cure, Beabadoobee, Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine.
Dead On Arrival - DOA started around 3 years ago, meeting at college and gigging together. They have since recorded their album Miasma, which covers topics of abusive relationships, being a woman in the music industry, and mental health. DOA live shows are a combination of intimate performance and intense emotion, high energy performances of original music perfect to sway your arms in the air or body slam strangers to.
