"Play and feelings guide Brighton octet Big Long Sun’s pocket universe. There’s an understated Arthur Russell-esque eclecticism, which flits from notebook-doodle psychedelia to jingle-worthy steakhouse melodies with total emotional accuracy. Immense FFO: Neon Indian, Of Montreal, The Flaming Lips, The Mountain Goats."
