Ziggy 2000 at The Lousiana
See event details

A gig on Sunday 23rd March. The event starts at 19:30.

After a sold out headliner show last December, Bristol's bubblegrunge sweetheart is back. This time, Ziggy marks her debut at one of Bristol’s most iconic venues: The Louisiana.

Celebrating an onslaught of successful singles, this gig will pack grit and girl rock, mashing her sugary voice with searing guitars and thrashing drums. Influenced by her love of noughties emo rock and indie sleaze, Ziggy culminates as Bristol’s very own candy princess.

If you’re a fan of The Cardigans, Sleigh Bells, yeule, beabadoobee or Björk, and you love stripy socks and tutus: this one’s for you (and all of your friends).

With support from Danger Sluice and Dogsbody, prepare for an evening of guitar-fueled girltopia.

Danger Sluice - 'A 3-piece girl gang curating a sound that is as seductive as it is unserious. Expect punk, gay anthems and sultry beats from the new clowns on the block.’

Dogsbody - '[blending] the current vogue of alternative rock with jazz and folk... Jones' haunting vocal delivery has often been likened to Hope Sandoval in its softer moments and Amy Winehouse in its more powerful moments.'

Entry requirements: 16+, any under 18s accompanied by 21+ adult 1:1 ratio
