A
clubnight
held at The Love Inn
on Friday 23rd February. The event starts at 22:00.
Embody invites house music maestro, prolific producer and Adonis resident Nyra to the Inn for a night of irresistible grooves and pumping dancefloor slammers, joyfully laced with a sense of euphoric nostalgia. Twisted Festival resident Someone Sunny will be laying down their trademark bright, bold and radiant selection of multi-genre club sounds. And completing the ravey trio is SWU resident and Embody mama Milly on Air.
Nyra:
Sheffield born, London based DJ and producer Nyra has had an incredible year of releases, on his own label Canoe, as well as Phonica and Bradley Zero’s Rhythm Section. His music provides those memorable, joyful moments on the dancefloor that stay etched in your mind, and have gained him regular support from the likes of Job Jobse, Jennifer Cardini, Eris Drew, Matisa, Ben UFO, Peggy Gou and many, many others. As a DJ he’s on an exciting trajectory, a resident for London’s most iconic queer party Adonis, he’s also played stand out sets recently at ADE, Boiler Room and delivered a stunning recent Crack Mix.
Someone Sunny
The London based Twisted resident has been on a crazy trajectory in recent times and is our big tip for 2024! With recent gigs for MILLK in L.A, Body Movements festival, Riposte at Electrowerkz and BENT as well as prolific output of guest mixes on NTS, Rinse and more. Blending a range of textures from breakbeat, hard house, trance and speed garage to ghettotech, tribal, hard drum and experimental. Their sets evoke a playful and primal energy on the dance-floor with a distinct mixing style and sound fusing rollicking kickdrums with euphoric melodies in swift, neat blends, in short Someone Sunny is a luminous artist on the up.
Milly on Air
Milly on Air’s sets are known for being pumping, playful and truly kaleidoscopic, blending influences from the early roots of acid house and rave with leftfield club music from across the electronic musical sphere. She's recently supported the likes of Honey Dijon, Saoirse, Demi Requismo, Alex Kassian, Courtesy, Abdul Raeva, played NYC Downlow, Boiler Room and been announced as a resident on SWU / Rinse FM as well as being named one of Future Disco’s ones to watch in 2024.
FFO: Queer joy, house music, acid wobblers, piano breakdowns, euphoric nostalgia, the 90s, the 00s, working up a sweat, big emotions, big vocals, hugging strangers and telling them you love them
