The Magic Carpet is coming to Bristol for one night only to celebrate the release of Pete Melba's "Witch Doctor" EP - the label's 12th record. Carpet co-pilots Apple B & Hazr are joined by a cast of Magic Carpet family old and new: Bristol regular turned Lisbon resident Velvet Velour (Butter Side Up, Small Hours), Sawyer a.k.a Stokes Croft's friendliest gent, and of course man of the hour Pete Melba (Planet Orange) down from Leeds. Expect saucier-than-a-recently-divorced-secretary house groovers, cheeky acid licks and maybe a break beat or two... if you're lucky.
