A
clubnight
held at The Love Inn
on Saturday 11th February. The event starts at 22:00.
Atypical is a Bristol based project focusing on the strange, groovy and the deep. We put music at the forefront of what we do - previously hosted the likes of Vlada, Z@P and Reeshy.
The part-Spanish, part-Luxembourgish artist Ogaźon has cultivated her skill and selection process in Amsterdam’s after-hour scene. Now residing in Berlin, her rhythms find inspiration in the eclectic and somewhat wilder characteristics of the city. Not bound to a sound in particular, Ogazón is best in arranging a coherent thread of feelings throughout her sets, be it melancholic bliss, ecstatic hope or just pure dancefloor pleasure.
Support comes from Eksish & Bill, read about them below!
As a DJ, Eksish’s charm lies in her ability to pay homage to house & techno of years past, while seamlessly fluttering between old and new to form her distinctive twitchy minimal-electro sound. An artist who’s constantly evolving, having already made her mark on a number of prestigious platforms including Resident Advisor, Fuse, Hidden, Stump to name a few, and her masterful command of all things minimal, techno, electro and house have seen her stages with artists like Zip, Raresh, Binh, The Ghost & Radioactive man.
Bill has been paving her way in the U.K. underground music scene in Bristol and London. Co founder of BOYS CLUB - sex positive female collective who’s mission was to give a platform to Womxn djs and producers with their radio show and takeovers at U.K. festivals inc Glastonbury. A regular guest at Atypical, Bill blends minimal, acid techno and breaks to create her own groove.
