A clubnight held at The Love Inn on Saturday 4th July. The event starts at 22:00.
Every year on the first weekend of July, St Pauls comes alive. The carnival may not be in full swing this year, but the spirit of the neighbourhood doesn't need a permit, and neither do we.
Club Djembe link up with Berlin's Einhundert to bring a night that honours that energy: global, rhythmic, dancefloor-first. Two collectives, two cities, one floor.
Headlining is Mobilegirl - Munich-born, Berlin-bred, and one of the most singular selectors in contemporary club music. Her sets are collages: early 2000s R&B tangled with, deconstructed club and pure dancefloor instinct, held together by an uncanny sense of cohesion. Genre is a suggestion. Movement is the point.
Alongside her, Einhundert co-founder Nico Adomako - a DJ, curator and cultural connector whose sets span club, bass, dancehall and beyond, carrying the globally-minded ethos he's built from Berlin to Accra, Tokyo, New York and back. Expect rhythm, expect range, expect records you won't hear anywhere else.
Holding it down for Bristol is DJ Stolen - Club Djembe resident, local institution, and the kind of DJ who knows exactly how to read a room and turn it upside down.
St Pauls does its thing. We do ours.
Doors open late. Come ready.
