Frog Themed Party at The Mazi Project

A event on Saturday 11th April. The event starts at 19:00.

It's my 30th birthday!!

To celebrate this special day we are having a party which combines two of my favourite things - frogs and fundraising for my best friend's hormones.

Dress code: green

You will be greeted with a welcome drink and a slice of pizza from our sponsor Pizzarova, as well as a Get To Know Each Other Bingo Card to encourage you to make new friends.

The rest of the night is packed with activities including:

* decorating a frog shaped disco ball
* up close magic tricks by Magic Malka
* paint your own frog shaped Guess Who
* tarot card readings by Jupiter and Oak
* frog shaped temporary tattoos
* pin the hormones on the Charlie
* decorating cakes (gluten free options available)
* raffle draw at 10pm

We will have a bar at the venue serving frog inspired cocktails. There is a cocktail design competition currently running to help us get ready for this and you can submit your ideas until midday on wednesday 8th April. More info on this here - https://www.instagram.com/p/DWEDRugCJ60/?igsh=MW5zaGgzbW01dWRhdQ==

The bar will also serve a selection of Bristol Beer Factory beer cans, Le Froglet sauvignon blanc and shiraz, mystery shots and soft drinks.

Unlimited tea is available at no cost.

We have some very exciting raffle prizes including pizza vouchers for Wren's Pizza, two tickets for The Founders Playground festival, a written tarot reading by Jupiter and Oak, handmade scrunchies from Betty's Style Stories, an anarchy discussion card game, and one of my original frog paintings.

All profits raised from the event are going towards gender affirming care for my best friend Charlie - this includes hormones (which cost an equivalent of £2.55 per day), kidney blood tests and electrolysis appointments. Gender affirming care is known to save lives through improving mental health and reducing suicidal ideation. We spend every day living inside our bodies so feeling comfortable in them can really make the biggest difference. You can read more on our Go Fund Me page here -
