SAMANA - In Tune With The Infinite at The Mount Without
Headfirst Editor's Pick

"Slowcore ballads electrified by torched blues, transcendent freak folk and complex post-rock unwindings. Samana’s lavish 7 piece band playing in the round at the jaw-dropping Mount Without will be utterly soul-stirring FFO: Marissa Nadler, Mazzy Star, Cigarettes After Sex, Slowdive, Talk Talk."

We present to you ‘In Tune With The Infinite’ - our UK Summer, all artist-currated tour, which we are taking to a small number of unique spaces around the UK. This June, we will be bringing to you the full carnation of our live performance as a 7 piece, to perform our new album 'SAMANA’ in the sacred circle of the round. You will be immersed into an emotional dreamscape of vocals, bodhran, gongs, bells, horns, piano, electric guitars, double bass, drums, violin and cello.
We will also be joined on tour by fellow ‘ Road Records’ artist - the incredible neo- classical ensemble ‘Pillow’.
Our mission is to deliver a profoundly transcendental and immersive sonic and atmospheric experience, breaking down the performer/audience barrier, easing all into the soft, embracing ambience of a living room. Emphasis is placed firmly on the sonic deliverance of the music, offering a binaural soundscape held within the spaces we inhabit. All such realms constitude towards a fully immersive state of interconnectedness, where the ethereal and the emotional realms fuse..
Our imprint 'The Road Records’ is on a mission to achieving artistic sustainability for uncompromising artistry in what is presently an incredibly challenging climate for independent artists in the UK. This means that once venue hire and artist expenses are taken care of, all ticket proceeds go directly into the pockets of crew of 9 artists, enabling the evening to be infused with magic and helping the continuation of more tailored and special events for the future.
We cannot wait for you to experience this in June. The last concert we performed in this carnation was referred to by audience members as ‘the closest thing I’ve ever had to a spiritual experience’ and ‘a sonic journey of shamanic proportion’ ‘the most profound live performance of my life’ The tickets sold out quickly, so don’t hesitate. Buy yours, support the beating heart of independent arts and join us for what we promise to be a truly unforgettable evening!
