Pete Josef performs his critically acclaimed 2015 album Colour with an inspired group of the UK’s finest jazz and soul musicians. Expect lots of special guests including the 30 strong Murmuration Choir!
Over two sets the band will perform the album in sequence, followed by a part 2 of recent originals and some of the high energy dance collaborations Josef has become known for over the years with the likes of Roni Size, Jazzanova, Manu Delago, and alongside Darren Emerson in the lo-fi dance duo The White Lamp.
The album Colour and its beloved title track gained support back in 2015 from Gilles Peterson and 6music, leading to celebrated shows at Montreux Jazz Festival Tokyo, Southern Soul Montenegro and the Worldwide awards at Koko, London. Since that time Josef has featured on numerous collaborations in the dance and electronic worlds with the likes of Roni Size, Jazzanova, Manu Delago, and alongside Darren Emerson in the lo-fi dance duo The White Lamp. 2025 brings Josef’s second solo EP in as many years, titled ‘Lifeline’, following up on the success of the ‘Defence’ EP in 2024.
