Dissolve 001 at The Old England Pub

A gig held at The Old England Pub on Friday 18th September. The event starts at 20:00.

dissolve is an intimate, artist-led audiovisual performance series exploring the space between live music, immersive visuals and experimental performance.

Each edition transforms the venue into a carefully curated environment rather than a conventional gig. Expect performances combining electronic textures with acoustic instrumentation, alongside visuals that bleed, distort and become part of the space.

Edition 001 brings together Genie Tempest, T.T. VALE and DRUX for an evening where sound, image and atmosphere gradually dissolve into one another.

Genie Tempest
West Yorkshire-born Genie Tempest blends experimental vocal practices with elements of post-new age, ambient, and electronica. Following the recent release of her debut album, Pulmonics, she is now bringing the project live through an improvised voice and electronics performance that ventures into idiosyncratic and experimental forms.

T.T. VALE
Vale paints with synesthetic fluid, siren psychopomp of desirous entities spitting rabid lullabies for the sleepless. Shaking vacuum of distorted rant, lysergic cuntspiel razing planes of feckless pasture, harvesting the black fruit of triffids. Dripping darkened juice of spite, euphoric hype, eternal fight. Pms doom, chopped n' glued she-drama.

DRUX
Shifting away from techno, DRUX's current work explores a more personal, broadly speaking, breakup album infused with pop-industrial textures.
