‘Painting da town red’ is an audible journey from the mouth of rapper ‘Eric the Red’ as he paints a picture of life in inner city Bristol as a vandal and boom bap visionary. The album takes you though various subject and lessons a person learns on the streets becoming a player in the graffiti game. All of this Combined with illinformed’s unique style of 90’s hard hitting drums and industrial atmosphere. Illinformed’s indisputable bass lines combined with Eric the Red’s contagious choruses makes for unstoppable force in hip hop and on the Bristol rap scene.
