Chris Garcia Sullivan’s work is a push against the boundaries of the Indie Folk genre, blending the textural depth of Bon Iver with the raw, distorted energy of his grunge roots. After his debut EP Butterflies landed him on the cover of Spotify’s ‘Folk Rizing’ and BBC Introducing’s ‘Earworm of the Week,’ Garcia Sullivan spent 2025 touring his immersive live show. His 2026 EP, Birds, marks an evolution into a grittier, ethereal exploration of identity and stagnation.
