BEN VINCE • www.instagram.com/benvince91 Saxophonist and producer Ben Vince announces the release of his sixth album, Street Druid, the first in almost six years via AD 93. The record is set to be released 20th February and Vince offers a glimmer into his rhythmically orientated record with the release of single (Ride A) Wave alongside the record’s announcement 14th of January. Ben Vince is a striking composer and performer, known for his live improvised saxophone explorations and inventive techniques in creating new rhythms, textures and moods. Through live improvisation, sonic manipulation, reprocessing and looping, his spontaneous yet intuitive approach and collaborative nature surpasses the seeming limitations of his primary instrument. His energetic and immersive solo shows encapsulate an artist at the height of their powers and is now a prominent player among a new breed of experimental artists, as well as having performed with improv ritual EP/64, Charles Hayward, Coby Sey, Valentina Magaletti and part of experimental post-punk band, Housewives. Vince has also notable studio collaborations with electronic producer Joy Orbison, Oscar-nominated experimental pop artist/composer Mica Levi, and many others spread across the musical spectrum including El-B, Astrid Sonne, Sugai Ken, Louis Carnell (fka Visionist), Mark Sanders, Alpha Maid, Gigi Masin, Rat Heart, Cucina Povera and Moin. Described by Pitchfork as "...where the histories of free jazz, early experimental composition, and leftfield club music all cook down together". REGINA COLLAGE • www.instagram.com/regina_collage Regina Collage is Ukrainian avant-pop artist based in Bristol, who experiment with synths sounds and inspired by outsider-rock, krautrock, synth- pop. Repetitive and primitive melodies blended with airy nostalgic vocal, noise and bass guitar. INTEL MERCENARY • www.instagram.com/intelmercenary_42069 Intel Mercenary operates at the fault line where bass pressure, white label grime, and experimental electronics collide. Armed with an Akai MPC2000XL, the DJ, producer, and rapper engineers chest-rattling, low-end constructions designed for physical spaces bathed in black light. Genres are treated as linear systems to be dismantled; Intel Mercenary breaks codes and resists classification. Expect bass-heavy futurism, industrial intensity, relentless sonic activity, and kinetic rhythm in every live set. Shaped by migration, life in Nigeria, New York, London and Bristol has etched forward-thinking textures into his sound-system-adjacent identity. RINGTONES • www.instagram.com/ringtonesss Ringtones is a 'bedroom skrambient' project created by Enter the Noid organiser Alex Elder. Via guitar, vocal and tape manipulation, Ringtones attempts to marry up the long-form serenity of the ambient artists they grew up listening to with the abrasive experimentalism of harsh noise acts and 90s emotional hardcore. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Presented by Weighted My Hand & Gravy Train. www.instagram.com/weightedmyhand www.gravytrainbristol.co.uk ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
