First up on the lineup Is the wonderful Anya Pailthorpe. Taking notes from folk, pop, and indie, her music tells the tales of adventures in love and connection, with the occasional deep dive into something darker. Anya studied music at the Hereford College of Arts, back in 2017, and then went on to travel the world with her guitar, writing songs of her experiences. With lyrics that connect straight to the heart, and melodies that draw on your emotions, Anya weaves a world with her music that even the long-thought ‘dead inside’ can’t help but be immersed by. Now settled back in the UK, she just celebrated the release of her latest album, Songs of a Travelling Heart, and is now in the process of writing the next one.

Closing the night we have the dreamy Hazed Date. Yiran Liu, the creative force behind the indie-folk/indie-rock persona, weaves delicate melodies and introspective lyrics drawn from the pages of her diary. Her music explores themes of sapphic yearning, the romantic allure of a small town life, and the search for sanctuary amidst the global political storm. As a first-generation immigrant, and queer woman, she finds inspiration in the complexities of identity and belonging, crafting songs that resonate like quiet revolutions of the heart.
Celebrating her debut performance with a fully Queer POC band, this show is a special one that’s not to be missed!
