The StoryMongers will recite a selection of Shakespeare's sonnets, and interpret each one of them accompanied by recorded Native American Flute sounds from Dave Merrick's CD entitled "Five Moods of a Canyon"

Dave will introduce the StoryMongers and there will be a live Native American Flute and Guitar set from Inner Voice, (Dave Merrick and Clive Mills) after the StoryMongers performance.

The StoryMongers are: Eddy Martin, (Narrator).

Eddy has been the narrator with the StoryMongers since their first show, the epic tale of Beowulf. He is an actor who has performed at The Bristol Old Vic, The Tobacco Factory and The Ustinov Theatre among others.

Philip Gibbs, (guitar), has produced a series of groundbreaking recordings as composer and guitar improviser, and played with heavyweight jazz groups including internationally recognised players, such as Keith Tippett,and many others. His approach to guitar performance includes many extended techniques and preparations, which he uses to great effect in his work with the StoryMongers. He has been described in recent reviews as a master of six or seven performance styles, and regularly receives excellent critical notices.

They will be supported by Dave Merrick (Native American Flute) and Clive Mills (Guitar), performing as "Inner Voice'. Dave has received an award for his playing and compositions on Native American flute from the Native American Flute Awards Society (USA), Clive is a long standing classical guitar teacher and performer who has served as an examiner for Trinity/Rock School.
