Socialist Sunday School | Bristol Transformed's Childcare Caucus at The Pickle Factory

A event on Sunday 28th June. The event starts at 10:30.

Inspired by the historical Socialist Sunday School movement, who sought to ‘teach children to think for themselves, feel themselves part of the great community of workers, and supply the Socialist movement with fearless, capable and conscientious thinkers', Bristol Transformed's Childcare Caucus are putting on our very first Socialist Sunday School!

The day will be inclusive for all ages.

Free creche for younger children
Activities and games designed for older children and their adults
Communal lunch, prepared and eaten together
Art and crafts throughout the day
Communal singing

Morning focus: How would you transform Bristol? What would Bristol (and the world) look like if children were in charge?

Afternoon focus: Coming up with our own Socialist Commandments. What does it mean to be a good comrade?

Please note: we ask that adults stay on site with their children and remain responsible for them (except when signed into the creche).

Entry requirements: no age restrictions
