Iain Ballamy - listed in BBC Music Magazine's "100 Jazz Legends" - will be hosting our next Masterclass/Concert Series at "Jazz In The Loft"
Bristol Jazz Collective are working in collaboration with the Bristol Jazz Festival to bring you in-person masterclasses & concerts with some of the world's best Jazz Musicians and Educators.
Iain is well known as a soloist, and through his work with various projects including Loose Tubes, Earthworks, Food, and Quercus. He has played with many great musicians; Gil Evans, Hermeto Pascoal and Dewey Redman, to name but a few.
He holds visiting professorships at Guildhall and the Royal Academy of Music.
This session will be a practical ensemble workshop for all instrumentalists and vocalists....bring your instruments!
The Tobacco Factory Loft Studio is on the top floor, access will be signposted from the Box-Office entrance.
There are lifts available.
