The Sunday Jazz Conspiracy at The Raven
£5 / £10 with a cocktail (£3 for industry)

A gig on Sunday 14th August. The event starts at 21:00.

This Sunday The Conspiracy welcomes Adam Stokes to the jazz club..

Adam Stokes is an in-demand Jazz guitarist and educator based in Bristol; known for combining traditional acoustic Jazz sound with contemporary language, Adam is equally inspired by Charlie Christian and Jim Hall as by Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane and Eric Dolphy. Adam will be performing with his trio and a special guest singer each week

Adam has been running Bristol’s only weekly Jazz Jam session for over four years and is equally at home providing nuanced ambient music for fine dining establishments, playing for swing dancers or exploring experimental contemporary Jazz in clubs and pubs across the UK. Adam is largely self-taught but has studied privately with Virtuoso Guitarist Scott McGill and New York’s leading Jazz Guitarist Peter Bernstein.

Every song has a hundred words in it and only I can really read between the lines.⁣
