A clubnight on Friday 8th May. The event starts at 23:00.
08/05 see's us throw our debut event at The Red Church. Now a Bristol institution best know for slinging some of the best pizza in the city, after hours it turns into a fully-fledged club with one of the best sound-systems in the city.
To make this Club Djembe debut one to remember, we’ve enlisted CD favourite G33, an established force in the UK club landscape and co-founder of the powerhouse all-female collective Girls Don't Sync.
A driving voice in the new wave of UK dance music, she’s become one of the most exciting names shaping the sound of the next generation. Whether behind the decks, on air, or collaborating with her collective, G33 channels the vibrancy, energy, and forward momentum that define the scene today.
Alongside G33 we have Rea - a DJ who can seamlessly fuse early-2000s grime influences with the modern sounds of breakbeat, UK funky, and techno. Her sets radiate unmistakable energy, taking her from intimate underground rooms to major international stages, including Dour Festival and the UK’s Boomtown Fair.
As a producer, she brings grime nostalgia into sharp, forward-thinking productions. Her remix of Footsie’s On This Ting has gained traction online, nearing 10,000 streams and landing a feature in Boiler Room via a set from Tailor Jae, a testament to her rising influence in the scene.
Supporting G33 & Rea we have Club Djembe's very own DJ Polo & DJ Stolen who'll be gracing us with one of their signature b2b's.
